Hello!
I'm Sarah Ellen Rindsberg, the contemporary Mary Poppins. After raising two wonderful children of my own, I dedicate my kindness and caring to those looking for the best babysitter/nanny. I'm available days, evenings, overnights and to accompany families on vacation. At bedtime, I tell the tales of Larry the library mouse, world traveler. I was the childcare provider at the Salisbury Congregational Church for four years and a ski instructor at Catamount for three. I tutor children in any subject and adults in French and English. I also play the flute and am CPR certified. I have extensive experience as a substitute teacher and sit for kids of all ages. I look forward to meeting your family!

Loving, fun, dependable, thoughtful and a great role model -- that's our description of Sarah. She cares for our kids occasionally during the week and on the weekend. Sarah chauffeurs our three girls to school, ballet and French story time. Most importantly, we never feel as though we are leaving our children merely supervised; they are better off for the time they have spent with her and we always enjoy date night when she's with our kids, knowing they're receiving the best of care. Sarah was an exceptional caregiver for our 6.5-year-old son. She listened attentively as I described his demeanor and implemented strategies that made their three days together fun, educational and comforting. They read, played Monopoly and went on the ropes course at Catamount. I would hire her again in an instant. Sarah Ellen is intelligent, trustworthy, loving, kind, calm, organized and flexible. She cared for my son like he was her own, following our routine and addressing his special needs. The first time our son was with a sitter, at 18 months, the experience was so traumatic that we never thought we could do it again. Sarah Ellen renewed our trust in caregivers in a BIG way, allowing us to enjoy our class and reconnect child-free! When my son awoke in the morning after she had tucked him (an amazing in feat in itself) he said - Mom what are you doing here? I thought it would just be Sarah Ellen and me for three days. We're good here, go have fun! Rae H.
Sarah is the nursery caregiver during worship at a Church in Salisbury, CT. She welcomes our youngest church members, birth through age 4, to the nursery in a warm, gentle and inviting way. As the mother of two grown children, she brings to the position a sense of maturity, experience, competence and common sense. Sarah Ellen is a responsible employee, arriving in a timely manner and leaving the nursery in excellent condition. It is my pleasure to act as a reference for Sarah Ellen. Barbara C.
We were so pleased to have Sarah as our sitter. Since we were babysitting our granddaughter, we were very reluctant to leave her with yet another sitter. We had an unavoidable social obligation, however, and were forced to look for help. In this anxious state, it was a real relief for us to have a mature, experienced, and energetic pro like Sarah taking care of our granddaughter. Beyond that, Sarah Ellen has qualities of sophistication and judgement which constitute a rare find in a sitter. Peggy S.
And, here's a thank you note from a mother-of-the-bride, sent after one of my sitters cared for her grandchildren during the wedding: "Sarah, thank you again. Please thank Laurie. You and your company are so professional and we will highly recommend you if given the opportunity." Debra F.
